Описание: A Russian serviceman lost control of a YakB-12.7 four-barrel aircraft machine gun that had been removed from a helicopter and mounted on a ground platform, almost hitting his own instructor.

According to reports, the incident occurred during an air defense (AD) crew training exercise. Due to the weapon's enormous recoil, the machine gun began spinning wildly, nearly opening fire on nearby Russian personnel, while the gunner himself was thrown away from the weapon.

The YakB-12.7 is the primary weapon of the USPU-24 gun mount used on the Mi-24 attack helicopter.
