Описание: Just getting into Irish fiddle music? In this 4th video in a series of teaching tips I did for Violin Tutor Pro, you'll learn some key things to keep in mind as you start playing this style. We'll go over the basic tune structure, tune types, stylistic differences, the importance of listening, and tunes vs songs. This is a very basic overview, and there are a lot of exceptions when it comes to tune structure and individual vs. regional styles, so treat this as a starting point if you are new to Irish traditional fiddling!

*Note that regular 6/8 jigs are also in duple meter! Slip and Hop Jigs (9/8) are in triple meter. Slides (12/8) are quadruple meter.
