About the car:
For the 2011 season, Audi debuted a new prototype machine named R18 TDI. This car is the second closed machine since the German manufacturer firstly participated in 24 hours of Le Mans in 1999 (its first closed machine is R8C). Audi sent three R18 TDIs for Le Mans in 2011. The race was the hardest one in recent Le Mans history. Audi and Peugeot fought side by side throughout the race, and the Audi's no.2 car (drivers: Fässler, Lotterer and Tréluyer) finally won the race.
The car no. 3, which is featured in this video, crashed in the beginning of the race and retired.
