Описание: I was becoming concerned that my South American bumblebee catfish (Microglanis iheringi) was not going into the vase in which I put its food each morning. However, last night and again tonight I found it doing this. I see that it is not suffering from “hallow belly.” I’m going to try and keep it with Columbian tetra (Hyphessobrycon columbianus), too big for it to ingest. It may occasionally consume a fry, but I don’t want it to subsist on Columbian tetra. I breed Columbian tetra as a major part of my hobby and I don’t care to feed live fish. I know that it’s natural, but there are plenty of prepared, frozen, and lower-level, live foods to keep this fish healthy and happy.
