Описание: The song was written during a planned reworking of the album "Shine", a project that ultimately never came to fruition.

The release of the album was marred by a series of misfortunes. The first was its original release date, scheduled for September 11, 2001. Shortly thereafter, the recording label Edel Records folded, and advanced demos of many of the songs intended for the album were leaked online. As a result, Lauper decided to shelve the project, which only saw a full release on the Japanese market in 2004.

During this "second round" of songwriting for the album, Lauper composed several songs that were never officially released, including "Still With Me", "It’s a Beautiful Thing", "The Other Side of Here", and this track, which I personally remastered to the best of my abilities.

"Edge of the Earth" was first performed live on December 27, 2001.
