CTC 3d printer setup

Got it on ebay for 400, now they are 350.
Awesome this is the best deal Im gunna make some stuff

Unpacking it and showing off
Comes with everything you need.

First thing is remove all the packaging and be careful with the print head.


You can download things to print OR design it yourself I can help you design if you need it special.

It makes things out of plastic, nylon, or wood.

And yeah this is the cheapest looking 3d printer, but its cool because it is large and has dual heads, and easy to repair.
I can handle it if it needs a little work to set it up

I had to cut a little piece of drive belt that was sticking out so that the nozzles would sit evenly

The nozzles drop in, adjust the hieght by adding a washer or whatever, included, so that the 2 nozzles are level, I think one of them has to be a little bit lower but whatever, can always adjust that later.

After is all unpacked
Leveling the platform is easy and it was almost perfect right out of the box.
Make sure its exactly .2 of a mm between the plate and nozzle
check each corner make sure its nice.

Actually came out almost perfect from the factory.

Ok heat it up and click extrude and let it start spewing its goo.

The most important is to make sure the first layer is touching nicely and adhering to the platform so that it doesn't peel up in the middle of printing


I am super super buzzed that I have this and I really hope that I find some justification of buying it so if you want me to print you something please tell me and Im having fun all by myself with my new robot friend.

leftover screws is a normal thing for me, no idea why .
maybe I should read the manual

As you can see the plastic touches the plate on the first layer, and all subsequent layers are deposited on top of the layer below, henceforth creating a 3 dimensional product.
