Ingredients and Measurements:
1.5 cups soaked yellow split peas
1/4 cup water to blend (do not use too much)
6 cloves garlic crushed
2 wiri wiri peppers crushed (or any hot pepper)
2 scallions thinly sliced (only the green parts)
1/3 cup chopped spinach (optional)
1 tsp. turmeric (use more or less depending on color preference)
1 tsp. roasted ground geera/cumin
oil to fry
