(11 Jun 2018) US President Donald Trump was seen leaving Istana Palace, Singapore's government house, after talks with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong on Monday.
Trump expressed optimism on the eve of Tuesday's historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un during a working lunch with Lee and aides to both leaders.
Trump said "we've got a very interesting meeting in particular tomorrow, and I think things can work out very nicely."
He also told Lee the decision to hold the summit in the island city-state of Singapore was "made very consciously" and offered thanks.
His motorcade was seen arriving back at the Shangri-La Hotel later on Monday.
