Israel strikes Iran as Tehran warns of 'crushing blows' amid escalating tensions

Tehran accused Israel of continuing military operations despite a ceasefire reached in April and warned that any further aggression would invite a broader response targeting Israeli and US interests across West Asia.

Amid the heightened tensions, Iran closed its western airspace until further notice for security reasons. Although Iran and the United States have reportedly exchanged proposals aimed at formally ending the conflict, the latest military exchanges have raised concerns over the stability of the fragile ceasefire and the prospect of renewed regional escalation.
