HOW TO SCORE A 7 ON THE CHEMISTRY IA (From a moderated 22/24 student)| IB Internal Assessment Advice

Описание: Hello!!! I hope you are all having an amazing day that is hopefully not too stressful. In today's IB advice video I talk about how to score a 7 on the IB chemistry internal assessment and give you my best tips and advice for the chemistry IA. As I am an M20 student my IA was moderated and ultimately scored 22/24 marks. In this video I go through my own IA and basically just show you how to write your entire IA from scratch by explaining what the conventions are for the IB chemistry IA and pointing out a variety of common flaws the IB has mentioned in previous subject reports, which will hopefully show you how to get a level 7 on the chem IA.

My own research focused on the effect of temperature on the rate of decomposition of hydrogen peroxide catalyzed by catalse, measured by time taken to evolve oxygen gas, which was utilized to calculate the rate of reaction. This was practical research therefore this is likely to be especially helpful for anyone doing practical research, however, much of what is said in this video also applies to simulations, hybrid IAs, and database IAs just to a lesser extent.
