Cozumel Scuba Diving | Drift Dive with the family

Описание: welcome to my first scuba dive ever! Cozumel gave us some beautiful sights of the underwater world, reefs, and the creatures who live in it.

we got most of the family out in the water for a drift dive. a drift dive is like scuba diving but there is an underwater current that pushes you along so you don’t have to do much swimming. We did two dives: one at 45ft and another at 60ft. This was a discovery dive and you didn’t even have to be scuba dive certified.

I have been snorkling a few times in the Carribbean and this was the best stuff I have ever seen. We went to the Yucab reef if you’re trying to find a good dive site to go to. We barely saw any other divers until the end.

This is also the bluest water I have ever seen. I say it like 20 times in the video but it was so beautiful.

GOPRO TIPS
I apologize for the foggy video in the second half. The GoPro I was using had an underwater case on it and some condensation got in there. I like to use the video because it’s still cool to look at. If you are diving you have to have an underwater case on your GoPro because they are only waterproof up to 16 ft. I guess I am supposed to buy some defogging strip to put in the case and then I wont have that problem. I amusing the GoPro MAX for this video and the quality is okay, not sure I would recommend the 360 feature for dives.
