The Congress party is yet to announce its chief minister for Karnataka. The top two contenders former CM Siddaramaiah and party state president D K Shivakumar met Rahul Gandhi at his residence in Delhi. This comes a day after both the CM aspirants met party chief Mallikarjun Kharge. Kharge is expected to announce the decision in Bengaluru today.
Other CM aspirants in the Congress including senior leader and former deputy CM G Parameshwara have pitched themselves for the post as well.
