The show is small, but speaks volumes through its intricately detailed paintings and soundtrack that immerses you in the artwork. This interview with the artist Marianela de la Hoz discusses how their collaboration came about, the process of making paintings with speaker cones, and how they came to the title and theme of the show.

de la Hoz has been painting for over 30 years with recent exhibitions at the Cornell Fine Arts Museum, Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT) in Tijuana, Mexico, the Mexican Museum in San Francisco, CA and many others. She considers her painting to be tragicomic that opens the key to a viewer's imagination.
