The Patient

Gen2Gen is a community film project produced by Melbourne Queer Film Festival and presented by beyondblue. A person under 25 years was paired with a person over 55 years to create a short films about each other that explored themes around pride, hope, recovery and resilience experienced by same sex attracted, trans* and gender diverse people. These films were made from start to finish during MQFF 2014, shot on iPhones by participants who had never made a film before with the assistance from mentors Grant Scicluna, Jannine Barnes and Justin Olstein.
