Atty. Dennis Gorecho (far right), maritime lawyer and member of the National Seafarers' Day Committee invited me to contextualize our maritime industry to our ancient culture at Melo Acuña's "Tapatan sa Arstocrat" on the topic "Filipino Seafarers: Prospect in Perspective Times" on 1 October 2018. Honored to with them as well as Captain Cecilio Jr Rahon, Jr., Arman Hernando of Migrante International, Merle Jimenez San Pedro of the Movement for Maritime Philippines, Captain Rodolfo Estampador, Admiral Adonis Donato and two of the ten outstanding maritime students of the Philippines this year: France Gerard Santameña (JBLCF Bacolod) and Christian Gilbert Estevan (MAAP). I learned a lot yesterday from these folks.
