A Utah native, David earned a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the University of Utah in 2010. After a year in a PhD program at Cornell, he decided to leave and start Power Practical. While sitting around a campfire in 2012, David was inspired to find a way to do something useful with wasted energy. With no prior business background David has successfully recruited a team, launched seven Kickstarter products totaling over $2 million, raised angel and venture capital, and placed products in retail stores across the globe.
A Montana transplant, Caleb studied accounting at Utah Valley University. In 2008, Caleb started his first company, CupAd, and sold advertising to companies like Overstock.com, Zagg, and the University of Utah. In 2011, Caleb joined Power Practical and helped develop the initial strategy of introducing the PowerPot to the market, primarily through the use of crowdfunding. Since joining the team, Caleb has expanded distribution through retailers in the U.S. and in fourteen countries internationally.
