Описание: This is a front window of a PATH train from the World Trade Center station (the new WTC is not done yet, they simply reused the station name from before 9/11) to Newport by way of Exchange Place. Upon leaving Exchange Place, the track on the left is for the Newark Line, while we see the Journal Square-33rd Street line merging before Newport station. I forgot which type of train this was, but it could have been PA-1, 2, 3, or 4. None of these cars exist any longer, they have all been replaced by the PA-5. Be glad that I posted this video, because the new trains do not have ANY view at the front; the motorman's door is fully opaque and the only window in the cab partition overlooks the storage area on the left side. The driving cabins can be converted to partial-width, as they are in the middle of the train, but it is does not get converted in the back. While there could be a number of reasons why Kawasaki did not make it possible to have an end view (i.e., electrical wiring or air vents in the blank walls), it is likely that the lack of visibility was done on purpose, considering the PATH goes closer to Ground Zero than the NYC Subway. It is similar to how PATH does not allow flash photography, but the MTA does.
