My name is Marjorie Pilkinton and I'm a Urogynecologist and have the pleasure of taking care of patients with sensitive needs, things that might prevent them from enjoying life and activities, and I get to help them get back to what they love doing. I think it's very important to provide information to be an educator to patients to help the patient's feel empowered, to help them reach a decision that they feel comfortable and confident in. Thankfully I'm helping them get back to a better quality of life and so it's a very positive experience to work through these problems together. I am originally from Shelbyville, Kentucky, I've completed my medical degree at the University of Louisville and residency and fellowship in New York. I'm excited to be back to Louisville because this community has given so much to my family for several generations now, and I'm very honored and humbled to be able to help those in the community that's given so much to us. For fun I enjoy attending local arts including concerts, theatre, I enjoy running and exercising here in the community the local park system. I think is wonderful and most importantly, I'm enjoying being back with my friends and family.
