Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, and Gas, Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, announced measures to prevent future petroleum tank explosions during his 2025 budget presentation. The Minister also discussed the percentage of Nigerians currently benefiting from the natural gas program. Meanwhile, Minister of Works, Sen. Dave Umah, argued that the N800 billion allocated to the ministry in the 2025 budget is insufficient to fund all federal road projects. Umah stressed that improved road infrastructure would enhance security, improve commerce, and generate internally generated revenue.
