Mt Chalmers Historic Copper Mine Geology compared with Greenfield Discovery at Artillery Rd | QMines

Описание: The copper discovery at 'Artillery Road' in Queensland has become a welcomed addition to the QMines' Mt Chalmers project, with maiden drilling confirming the prospectivity of a large base metal system.
Drilling results from Artillery Road intersected broad copper and zinc skarn mineralisation up to 1.0% Cu and 5.1% Zn.
Glenn Whalan (exploration geologist) discusses the geological significance and compares the two locations.

The Queensland based exploration and development company owns rights to 100% of The Mt Chalmers and Develin Creek projects located within 90km of Rockhampton in Queensland.

Mt Chalmers is a high-grade historic mine that produced 1.2Mt @ 2.0% Cu, 3.6g/t Au and 19g/t Ag between 1898 and 1982. The Mt Chalmers project now has a Measured, Indicated and Inferred Resource (JORC2012) of 15.1Mt @ 1.3% CuEq for 195,800t CuEq.

QMines aims to make new discoveries, commercialise existing deposits and transition towards sustainable copper production.
