I don't remember who requested that I play Leon in Waterworld using only the handgun. Might have been someone I argued with after they accused me of being a cheater or something. In any case, I permitted myself the use of grenades as Leon doesn't get many drops for them anyway.
The RNG Gods were not on my side, however, as handgun ammo completely dried up for most of the run which killed any chances of a higher score.
I also opted to glitch out the 2nd Super Salvador by climbing the ladder when 30 kills were registered.
Still, I dare say it's not that bad a score considering the circumstances.
And for those who don't know, you can access Leon's alternate costumes when selecting him in the character menu:
Triangle + X = Jacket
R2 + X = RPD Uniform
Triangle + R2 + X = Mafia Costume.
