Turbo Actuator Location & Lubrication | Engine System Fault Fix
In this video, I go hunting for the turbo actuator on my Land Rover Discovery 3 (LR3) to give it a bit of much-needed lubrication.
Lately, I've been getting the dreaded "Engine System Fault" warning while driving, which throws the car into limp mode as the actuator stops moving properly. This is a common issue that can often be improved without replacing the whole turbo—if you can reach the actuator!
This is my first step in trying to resolve the fault without major disassembly.
