Is this the best song Sting ever wrote? For us it is, and we felt we needed to make our own version of "Mad About You", complete with the legendary Branford Marsalis solo - on recorder. Nature was on our side, from the full moon to the gust of wind at the end, which happened out of the blue at the perfect moment, unlooked for but very much appreciated.
Performed by Arpa Oscura: Anneliina Rif, voice, alto & soprano recorders, psaltery and frame drum, and Tuomas Kourula, theorbo and archlute. Sting himself plays the lute and even made a recording of lute songs - we think he might approve of our cover...
