The connection between Anthony Bourdain and Di Fara Pizza and David Portnoy and Di Fara Pizza are well known. The One Bite Di Fara Pizza episode is particularly well-known. Beyond the David Portnoy Di Fara score though, I have just heard many people say Di Fara is the best pizza in America so I just know I have to try it. For me, individual people are subject to their own tastes and biases, but when so many locals and tourists alike recommend this place, you know I have to try it! It was not close to travel from New Jersey to Brooklyn for DiFara pizza, you might say it was Di "Fara way" haha... But it will surely be worth it for an amazing New York pizza tour and adventure!
