Eleven families of Australian ISIS brides attempting to leave Syria's Roj Camp have been turned back 50 kilometres into their journey due to paperwork issues with the Syrian government in Damascus. The Albanese government maintains it will not repatriate people from Syria but confirms security agencies are monitoring the situation and any returnees will be prosecuted for crimes committed. The Coalition is pressuring Home Affairs Minister Tony Burke to impose temporary exclusion orders to block their return for two years.
