Our planet needs our help

Описание: It’s incredibly important for environmentalists to realize that the greatest adversity laid against our movement is one of the oldest driving forces of our species, greed.

All our undoings, defeats, and critical adversaries, are fueled by that one great driver, that which has shoved & herded us continuously towards the greatest injustices and atrocities of our species. The root of our undoing has existed long before any economic system or any empire’s reign & its reach is incalculable. It is, for all intents and purposes, ingrained into our species, an inseparable corruption that latches to power.

Now I’m not saying we are just mindless brutes led only by greed and apathy, because altruism and empathy are just as ingrained in our evolution and development. I’m just saying that unchecked greed is fundamentally what we are up against, as a whole (duh).

Profit and power are destroying our planet, and we drive ourselves towards collapsed oceans, drought, famine, and more. Terrible! Very sad world! But that is precisely why we must be brave and we must rage. If you have a cause, whatever it may be, then I suggest you take it up and drive it with all your might & may compassion be your sword and kindness your shield. RAGE. The deck is stacked terribly against us and extreme action is needed and it’s needed sooner than it will arrive, if it ever does. Still, do not discredit the small kindnesses that we sow each day, they are never in vain.
