Underfall Yard - Ultra-Wide 21:9 Test on PXW-Z90

Описание: Clips from a recent shoot at Underfall Yard and the Waterfront in Bristol, UK. Shot in 4K on the Sony Z90, these have been recomposed to fit a 21:9 ultrawide 5K 2K timeline.

Shot in S-Log 3 Gamut 3 Cine and recorded on the Atomos Shogun Inferno via HDMI from the Z90, all clips were edited and graded in Davinci Resolve 15. This was a beautiful sunny day in April 2019, so I tried to colour grade these to retain the bright spring feel rather than going for a darker, more cinematic look. Let me know what you think. There are no slow motion clips in this entire sequence for 3 reasons. Firstly, the Z90 does not shoot 4K at 60fps. Secondly, the gentle movements of the boats do not need slower clips. Thirdly, it's totally overdone, in my opinion!

The clips 3840x2160 clips are upscaled by a factor of 1.34 as part of the ultra-wide recomposition to 5120x2160, but the quality is still decent on a 5K 21:9 monitor in fullscreen. It does leave some of the framing a little cramped at times. Overall, however, I like the look.
