Firoze Bhai’s name is and has been associated with most of Indore’s Jeep restorations. This one is arguably the best work, painstakingly undertaken over a period of 2 years. His son Naeemuddin Qureshi was instrumental in the acquisition of this rare 1964 model Willy’s Station Wagon and then procuring all the original parts from the US.
The first SUV in the world to gain mass appeal, replacing the “woodies” and offering safety. The success of the Willy's Station Wagon overshadowed that of many other models offered by Willys-Overland from 1946-1964, it also got referred to as “People’s car”.
