Australia suffers 5.8 magnitude earthquake in Mansfield, Victoria and is felt in Melbourne

Описание: A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck Mansfield, Victoria, and was felt around 200km (124 miles) away in Melbourne, the state’s capital, on September 22.

Homes shook, as did the ABC TV studios and some buildings suffered damage due to the earthquake.

Geoscience Australia, the Australian government agency that reports on significant earthquakes, said the earthquake was detected at 9:15am and was 10-kilometres deep.

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said there were no reports of serious injuries as of Wednesday morning.
