Trading the Trend - Are You Doing It Right?

Описание: In this week's video, Jason Shapiro talks about macro trading, trading a trend-following system and doing the opposite of what seems like the right thing to do. Jason recalls a conversation he had with a form CIO of a CTA regarding macro investing and sizing trades based on macro data supporting the trend or if the trend is trading opposite of the macro views. Not surprisingly, sizing up when the trend goes against macro views (as we are right now in the stock market) in the long term, provides a better reward-to-risk ratio as explained in the video.
