Sacramento Light Rail Train Compilation Of September 2025 | 4 New Siemens S700 Added Into Service

Описание: This year, this one light light rail compilation has been main under or at 1 hour long but this month had a lot of stuff to cover so it bumped this compilation over an hour and a half like the old ones. First off, September 2025 is the month I did another update of the Dos Rios Station Construction Project as it's a month out from when they will need to temporarily shut down the Blue Line for a short amount of time they say 15 days but the way construction goes in this era it may actually be one month shutdown of the Blue Line starting sometime in later Oct 2025 with a Blue Line bus bridge being put up between the 11th & K/Cathedral Square Station and Marconi/Arcade Station. If SACRT would have kept the crossover at Arden/Del Paso, trains. could of turned around there on the north end instead of Marconi. Still don't know why till this day SACRT felt the need to remove that crossover as I recall it being used during service disruptions oppose to the crossover at 16th St since the 16th St crossover was unused due to its alignment in between crossings plus is originally wasn't a crossover but a turn out originally that the outbound track was cut into so it's understandable to remove that. Also, it's cool seeing the original currently used Blue Line tracks ties exposed near the Dos Rios Construction area since they are soon to cut the new tracks into that section.

Two, Horn Rd area on the Gold Line this month had its first survey done for the future Horn Road Station but these are not construction surveys yet. That's not until at least 2027 when you look for construction starting on the Gold Line for the Horn Road Station Project. Glad it's actually moving forward.

Three, in the late half of this month, 4 more new Siemens S700 LRV's were released into service being cars SACRT 425, 426, 423, and 424. 25 and 26 came out a week ahead of 23 and 24. This means 6 out of 8 cars of delivery batch 2 are in or released into service bringing SACRT's Siemens S700 train cars in service or seen service to 26 cars. Unfortunately though, cars 07 and 22 are temporarily not in service for an unknown reason like how car 17 temporarily so that's minus 2 cars. Also, cars 24 and 25 were able to be released with their original Gong Bell sound that only lasted a few days and now have the standard SACRT WCH W-Bell sound.

Four, for the last two weeks of Sep 2025, SACRT has acquired an all Siemens S700 train consist on the SACRT Gold Line finally with all these cars released but have not announced it themselves yet due to cars 07 and 22 not running currently. I have been along the Gold Line and have not seen any old high floor trains running the last two weeks.
