What is hiking really like in mainland China?
I combined the short form videos into a compilation of the hikes I’ve done here in Shenzhen. It’s a series of self0designated hikes I call the Station-to-Station Challenge: where each route starts at one metro station, crosses mountain ranges and landmarks, and ends at another station.
Across multiple hikes, I summit Wutong Mountain, traverse the Tanglang–Meilin–Yinhu mountain ranges, and explore the massive (and mostly empty) Guangming Red Bridge project. Each hike gets progressively harder, more remote, and less predictable.
