Basilica of Santo Stefano and Piazza Marconi
The Basilica of Santo Stefano was built on the remains of a fortress from the year 1000, and is just above Piazza Marconi, the most elegant square of Lavagna, surrounded by the Brignardello Portico and the steps of the Basilica.

Lavagna’s cemetery
The Lavagna’s cemetery is an open-air museum. Dating back to 1810 and located on a hilly area, it is second in Liguria, for works of art, only to that of Staglieno in Genoa.

The gardens of the Torre del Borgo
Torre del Borgo, now a museum, is set in an almost hidden garden which today is one of the unmissable places in the historic center of Lavagna.

The alleys of the centre
The city center of Lavagna is characterized by alleys that intersect with squares and courtyards, in a nice mix of picturesque colours.

Church of San Salvatore dei Fieschi
A few minutes from Lavagna you can visit the town of Chiavari and, among the hills, the Church of San Salvatore dei Fieschi, which was built at the behest of Pope Innocent IV in the 13th century.
