in this session Im trying something new- inspired by the past!
Recently, I came up with this color palette and sent it out with my newsletter as a digital download so you can print out the image and use it for your art process too!
Join me in this mixed media tutorial as I create a small, loose abstract landscape series with a hand picked color palette inspired by this woodblock print by the great Tsukioka Yoshitoshi - one of the great masters of the Edo period's woodblock printing legacy.
I won't be aiming to match colors exactly, but rather allow myself to be inspired by this historic piece of art and push myself out of my usual comfort zone with a few new colors (I'm looking at you Red and Purple 😂).
And if you are interested in receiving Color Crush Palette inspo directly to your inbox, be sure to sign up for my newsletter over on my website (link bellow).
