What's New for 2026?
The C63 only receives minor changes for 2026. A digital key now comes standard, allowing drivers to lock, unlock, and start the car via a smartphone app. Inside, a Black Fine Structure material for the center console is a new option. The only other change is the addition of the MBUX Entertainment Plus package to the Pinnacle trim.
Engine, Transmission, and Performance
Hybrid Powertrain: 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with an electric motor, 671 horsepower combined; propelled by a 9-speed automatic transmission.
0–60-MPH Times -C/D 60-mph Test: 2.9 seconds (Euro spec)
The C63's 4.8-kWh onboard battery pack can be used to power the car on electrons alone for an extremely short period; the EPA estimates that it can only manage one measly mile of all-electric driving on a full charge. It can be charged either by being plugged into a charging station or power outlet, via the electric motor integrated into the turbocharger that feeds current to the battery, or traditional regenerative braking.
Interior, Comfort, and Cargo
The C63’s cabin looks much like those of the standard C-class and AMG C43 model, but it sports unique upholstery and stitching patterns as well as AMG-branded sport seats with openings cut out to help save weight. A panoramic sunroof is standard, as are heated front seats, with ventilation an option. A heated steering wheel, sport seats with additional support, and acoustic glass are also available.
Infotainment and Connectivity
Audio System: 15-speaker Burmester 3D Surround Sound audio system (standard)
All models come with a large 11.9-inch infotainment touchscreen that is integrated into the center console and canted slightly toward the driver. A 12.3-inch digital gauge display is also standard. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are present with wireless connectivity, and a high-end Burmester stereo system is included, too.
Safety and Driver-Assistance Features
Standard Safety Features: automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection
Optional Safety Features: lane departure warning with lane-keeping assist, adaptive cruise control with lane-centering feature.
