Happy New Year everyone!

This ones been a long time coming, we're starting the year off with a bang with the upcoming Tabula Rasa by the Project W team that the homie Kenny has graciously let me borrow for the past month or two.

So to sum it up, my opinion of the board is that its fucking sick and if I didn't already own a Unikorn, I would totally consider picking one up for the collection. It looks, sounds, and feels awesome to type on and isn't just another Korn clone either. If you don't already have a drop in o-ring board, I would 100% recommend picking up the Tabula Rasa!

Visually, the case design of the TR60 is just elegant asf, I'm a sucker for how good this board looks. The weight design is unique and looks badass, it isn't just another boring flat Korn style weight. Also regarding the weight, unlike with the R2.1 Korns that force you to remove the bottom weight to unplug the JST every time you want to disassemble the board, that problem isn't here at all. Removing the build and disassembling the TR is pain free and you don't have to finagle with the weight just to get your config out of the case. Assembly isn't hard either even with the HHKB version too, its literally just plug in, and slot the build into the case. Also this board def has one of the top 5 side profiles in my opinion just very sleek and looks so good.

Sound wise, being that the board is o-ring mount, the sound can vary depending on what thickness and durometer of an o-ring you would use, but generally speaking, the board sounds clean asf and you won't be disappointed. Out of the four o-rings I tested out, my preferred choice is the 50a medium o-ring! Just find it to have the best balance for sound and typing feel.

Continuing on the topic of typing feel, this also depends on the o-ring you use but the typing angle of the board itself being 8 degrees is totally comfortable to type on and is in that 7-9 degree zone that I prefer! I honestly can't type on anything that's below 6 degrees nowadays and was the main reason I sold my Mode Sonnet a few months back. If you're like me and enjoy typing on boards that are 7 degrees and up, you will be very pleased with the TR's typing angle.

All things considered, I fucking love this keyboard and you will absolutely not be disappointed in picking one up for your own collection!
