Korean government demands Japanese daily delete derogatory article 정부， ′朴대통령 명

The Korean government has denounced a Japanese newspaper for likening President Park Geun－hye to Empress Myeongseong who was assassinated by Japanese agents iㅁ1895.
A government official says Seoul will demand the Sankei Shimbun remove the article from its website.
It will also urge the paper to ensure that no stories of a similar nature appear in the future.
The official says the government will convey its message through the Korean embassy in Tokyo.
The newspaper published an article on Monday in which it said President Park′s decision to attend China′s military parade this week was an act of sycophancy， comparing her with Empress Myeongseong.
It then claimed Korea was trying to double－deal with the U.S. and China.
