Ipatatawag ng Commission on Elections (COMELEC) si Sen. Chiz Escudero para pagpaliwanagin dahil sa P30 million na campaign donation noong 2022 elections mula kay Lawrence Lubiano, president ng Centerways Construction and Development Inc.
Nauna nang pinagpaliwanag ng komisyon si Lubiano.
“Dahil nga po ang proseso natin, sila munang contractor. Pagkatapos po, ang susunod na ‘yung nakatanggap na kandidato para naman po hingan ng kaniyang paliwanag,” ayon kay COMELEC Chairman George Garcia.
