I was extremely privileged to visit Sheila's Honey in Gacuriro Kigali. Sheila's Honey produces and manufactures amazing pure and flavoured honey right here in Kigali, Rwanda! What is even more compelling...she donates 10% of her proceeds to support disabled women and women living with HIV and AIDS. Her mission is to make a difference in the lives of the most vulnerable women and children in Rwanda.
That reason alone made me support the business immediately, but the product itself is in a class of its own! The amount of flavour varieties that she offers is incredible, and she outlines the specific health benefits that each one provides. The store itself is warm and inviting and I love that she manufactures everything directly on site.
