This is a one piece shrug with long sleeves. Pretty easy to follow. Also called 'knitted sleeves'.
///Materials:
-Lion Brand Home Spun Yarn: http://amzn.to/1WhNGtJ
-Knitting Needles Size 9: http://amzn.to/24FE0ei and size 11 http://amzn.to/1WhNTgn

////Instructions
Sleeves Shrug
One Size fits most.
3 Lion Brand Homespun, 6oz. each. or 16 oz. of any other #5 (bulky) weight yarn.
Size 9 (short or long) and 11 (long) knitting needles.
The whole piece measures 60” long. From beginning to end. Please measure yourself
and adjust accordingly.
Cast on 35 stitches.

With #9 knitting needles, cast on and work 10 rows of k1,p1 ribbing.

Change to size 11 needles and make to double seed stitch.
Multiple of 2 + 1
1st Row.- K1 p1, k1
2nd Row.- P1 k1, p1
3.- Same as 2nd. Row
4.- Same as 1st. Row.
   • Knitted Seed / Moss Stitch  

Add 1 stitch on each side on rows 1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, 49 and 53.
Now you will have 63 stitches.
Measure how many inches this gives you, Mine measured 17”.

I will need the same for the taking off and ribbing of the other sleeve.
That means I need to knit 26” for the middle part.
17” + 26” + 17” = 60”
Continue with Double Seed Stitch for the 26”
We will start counting rows from now to the beginning of the ribbing.
Start decreasing 1 stitch on each side on rows:
1, 5, 9, 13, 17, 21, 25, 29, 33, 37, 41, 45, 49 and 53.
Change to #9 needles and make 10 rows of k1, p1 ribbing.
Bind off.
Leave long tail about (24”) and cut yarn
Sew up about 16” from each sleeve.
