CGFigures Presents - Functional Geonodes for Thin Film Storage

Описание: This video is part walkthrough, part rant. The walkthrough shows how to use the geonodes assets I created for making customizable 3D printed lab storage boxes for thin films. If you've never used CAD or Blender it should be relatively straightforward to get you started making some space-saving custom labware.

The rant is a discussion on why I made these in the first place and highlights my particular feelings about using plastic petri dishes for storing thin films. Hopefully this asset will be as useful for you as it has been for me when it comes to saving space.

This asset was inspired by the measurable add-on from Makertales and Johnny Matthews. Until recently I would not have considered Blender a good substitute for traditional CAD (and in some ways it still isn't). Both channels are definitely worth checking out.
