Mal Farrow Talks About The Shamokin Head

Описание: Since 1876, the Farrow family has served as the Shamokin area's best provider in funeral services, and they are still open and operating. Mal, a 4th generation member of the Farrow family, recalls the famous Shamokin Head that lived at the funeral home from 1904 when it was discovered until 1976 when it was handed over to the Anthracite Heritage Museum.

In the fall of 1976, County Judge Peter Krehel ordered the head to be buried, causing quite the upheaval of one of the region's most prized possessions; The Shamokin Head.
