Описание: In cab footage from a train running along the main railway line through Dawlish which has been reopened today, April 4 2014. The coastal rail line was wrecked by the sea in ferocious storms. A 100-ft section of track was left dangling in mid-air at Dawlish, Devon, severing one of the country's most important rail links. A powerful storm on February 4 washed away the supporting sea wall and left the rest of Devon and Cornwall cut off from the UK rail network. Ten days later another storm tore through a temporary barricade of shipping containers and caused fresh damage.
