The Clayton County Board of Education will conduct its Regular Board Meeting on Monday, March 2, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Performing Arts Center, 2530 Mt. Zion Parkway in Jonesboro. An agenda for this meeting is attached. The public is invited to attend.
NOTE: Prior to the meeting, another in a series of Student Spotlight sessions will be held. Student Spotlight l provides more time at Board Meetings for multiple presentations, bringing attention to the incredible talents of the district’s students. The segment, which will be livestreamed and recorded, will begin at 4:30 p.m.
In accordance with Board Policy BCBI: Public Participation at Board Meetings, members of the public wishing to speak must submit an email to the Board Coordinator at [email protected], including topic and contact information, before 3:00 p.m. on the day of the meeting. If remaining slots are available after 3:00 p.m., members of the public may sign up to speak in the lobby up to fifteen (15) minutes prior to the start of the meeting. Up to ten (10) speakers will be allowed to speak for three (3) minutes each at a Regular Meeting. Please note that members of the public will not be allowed to discuss individual personnel issues or confidential student matters.
