Curlew Sandpipers, Banded Stilts, and the diminutive Red-necked Stint are just a few of the Ramsar listed birds that Craig Morely (Geelong Field Naturalists Club) has been observing in the Lake Connewarre area for over 40 years. Craig is a champion of citizen science and understands the role it can play in protecting and enhancing Ramsar habitats for migrating shorebirds.
