STORYLINE:
Anti-Bush demonstrators waving signs that said "Worst President Ever" and "the American Nightmare" jeered the president's motorcade during the inaugural parade in Washington D.C. on Thursday.
The procession of cars sped up as President Bush neared the designated location for protesters on Pennsylvania Avenue.
Two rows of police lined the street in front of the main protest site.
One demonstrator said she didn't feel represented by the Bush administration.
"I'm very opposed to what's going on in Iraq and in many other countries of the world," she aid.
But many others cheered the president and his wife, Laura, as they got out of the presidential car to walk the last two blocks to the White House, where they watched a parade of military bands behind bullet proof glass.
