Follow along as I create this fun 1940’s style drawstring handbag using scraps and found objects around my house this is versatile and easy as can be!
Here are the measurements I used but feel free to change it up however you want to make it suit your supplies
All seam allowances are 1/2”
Measurements are
Drawstring 33” x 3
Ring tab 48” x 2 ( I cut this to make 16 tabs at 3” long
Diameter 20”
Coffee can lid 5” diameter
16 rings mine are approximately 1” diameter
Like I said in the video the rings can be substituted for a regular drawstring or just extend the tabs and run the drawstring through them
