This feeling of emptiness, meaninglessness, racing thoughts, emptiness, and lifelessness. Everything is negative; you just want to sleep and hope it will be over when you wake up. Every day is the same: gray, dark, cold, and feels like torture. Things that once brought joy and a smile to your face are suddenly no longer beautiful. You suddenly lose all interest in your hobbies. Every laugh and smile in company feels forced because your heart and soul just want to cry and scream. You have questions, find no answers, and the downward spiral continues. No matter what you try, it pulls you down like an anchor with chains around your neck.

Yes, I suffered from depression for a long time and really didn't want to live anymore… many people ask why? "You have everything and you're privileged?" Money and possessions say nothing about your inner mental state, and it took me so long to get out of that situation, even halfway. Yes, there are still days that feel just as awful and shitty as before, but I can handle them better now. Life isn't what it used to be, but you have to get used to that and work on yourself every day…
