Rasht Grand Bazaar is an important part of everyday life in the city, with lively passages filled with fresh food, local products, traditional goods, and everyday essentials. It is also a great place to find many local products and souvenirs from northern Iran.

During this walking tour, we explore the fresh fish market, colorful fruit and vegetable stalls, local food products, and the authentic atmosphere of the bazaar, with the sounds of vendors, shoppers, and everyday market life all around us.

At one point, we also leave the main market area and enter a small alley inside Rasht Grand Bazaar to visit Emarat-e Hamdani, a traditional restaurant located in a restored old Qajar-era house.

The historic house features traditional architecture, wooden doors and windows, colorful stained glass, and an atmosphere that recalls the traditional homes of Gilan. Today, the restored building operates as a traditional restaurant serving local and traditional Iranian dishes.

This walk captures Rasht as it really feels — from fresh fish and colorful produce to local products and northern Iranian souvenirs, and finally the historic atmosphere of Emarat-e Hamdani. 🏡
