These ships are getting beached at ship breaking yard after expiry.
Each of the ships has her own story to tell you. From one port to another. Some of them are used for transporting cargo , some are used for passenger, some for fishing and transporting chemical and oil.
The owner of these expired ships usually signs an MOA while they sell them to the another party and name of the particular ship needs to be changed after.
After getting money from the buyer the ship needs to transfer to breakers yard from some formalities like customs, pollution control board, port clearance, Registry, out of charge etc.
After getting beached at Breakers yard further process will be start like customs, radio item breaking, pollution control board checking, decontamination of ship etc.
Then loose items and furniture will be sold to traders and cutting process starts.
After getting completion according to dismantling plan. The ship completion letter has to submit and process ends.
